April T-shirt and jean day

Our April T- Shirt and Jean Day on April 27, 2011will support the College Park/Woodlands High School FFA Barn Raising Fund. On February 1, 2011 a barn fire destroyed the Conroe ISD agricultural barn on Pruitt Road. South County FFA students lost 17 hogs and were devastated because the Houston Livestock Show and Montgomery County Fair were just months away. The students did not have time to start new livestock projects. They have collected about 20% of the funds needed to rebuild, but more funds are needed. FFA officials hope to have a new structure in place by the end of the school year so that students can begin new projects for the October State Fair.
