Kids' Meals: Feeding Hungry Children. You Can Help!
This May . . . St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School has adopted Kids Meals Houston as its service project recipient for the 4th quarter.
Kids Meals Houston, is a 501(c)3 organization, that provides lunches to impoverished toddlers ages 1-5, each weekday of the year.
Our GOAL . . . to feed 2,200 children living in poverty for a day!
The need is massive and our call is clear. We are asking that each and every SAOPCS family contribute to the Food Drive by offering up all of the items listed below over the two week Drive period. Keep in mind the children we are feeding are small so it’s important to purchase items that reflect the list below.
(Drop off will take place in Car line, the School lobby and may dropped off in advance in your child’s classroom beginning May 8th).
ALL ITEMS REQUESTED ARE PER FAMILY
Week One – DROP OFF ITEMS-- FRIDAY, MAY 8th
(3) boxes of Zip Lock sandwich bags or "zip lock" generic equivalent
AND
(3) cartons of Juicy Juice drink boxes or small juice box equivalent
Week Two – DROP OFF ITEMS-- FRIDAY, MAY 15th
(3) boxes of Nutri Grain bars or generic equivalent (soft chew variety only)
AND
(3) packages of Apple Sauce cups or fruit cups (any brand, non- refrigerated variety)
As always, we are blessed by the generosity of our St. Anthony Families, Faculty and Staff. We truly appreciate all your efforts to help feed Houston’s hungry. WE CAN DO IT!
