MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL ON TUESDAY'S SCHOOL EVACUATION

Message from Mrs. Nunez in Tuesday's School Reach:

Good morning St. Anthony of Padua parents. This is Mrs. Nunez. I want to make you aware of an incident that occurred on campus this morning. At approximately 8:15 am there was a short in one of the air handlers which caused smoke and an unpleasant odor in some parts of the school building. The alarms were sounded and the building evacuated. All students and staff were accounted for. We were out of the building for approximately 50 minutes while the Fire Department and facilities staff determined the cause, cleared the building of smoke and reset the alarm system. We are all back in the building and continuing with our day as usual. If you have any questions about the incident, feel free to call.
