Why are Parent Information Nights important? Parent Information Nights provide an opportunity early in the school year for parents and teachers to meet and establish home and school connections. They provide opportunities for new and returning fami-lies to meet one another, learn more about the school, and gain understanding of what their stu-dents are doing on a daily basis. The evening provides teachers with time to explain routines, pro-cedures, curriculum, instruction, discipline programs, etc. We hope to have all SAOP parents par-ticipate in this year’s Parent Information Nights. Working together—home and school—we can create the best year ever. Parent Information Nights are a great start!
