Please help support the Terra Family

Thank you to all who donated to help support the Terra Family in their time of need. Over $11,000 has been raised.


During the Thanksgiving holidays, a former student of our school, Kegan Terra, and his family suffered severe loss due to a house fire. More severely, Kegan’s grandfather, who lives with him, suffered a massive heart attack during the fire, and underwent quadruple by-pass surgery. He is presently recovering in the hospital in Conroe. Kegan, his father, Al, and his grandmother and grandfather lost everything. They have no clothing or furnishings.

The Terra family has been with the school for the past 8 years and just recently left the school to attend school in Magnolia. Mr. Terra still supports SAOPCS through our fundraisers, his most recent generosity as a sponsor for our Golf Tournament.

In this season of Advent, a time for giving to those in need, we would like to express our concern for these former members of our school community. We have a group of people who will be shopping for items to help the family while they are getting on their feet and awaiting insurance settlements, etc.

This Wednesday, December 2, we are offering a t-shirt and jeans day for the benefit of the Terra Family. Every dollar you bring in will be given to the family for their use. If you would like to donate additional funds, please send the gift to the school office.
