12th Annual UST/Archdiocesan Essay Contest

Four students from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School were invited to attend a special mass and awards ceremony Monday, January/11, which honored Catholic school students throughout the Archdiocese who earned Honorable Mention and higher in this year’s annual essay contest. More than 6,000 students from Archdiocesan Catholic schools – 3 ^rd graders through high school seniors – wrote essays for the contest. Students who placed from St. Anthony’s are:

8th Grade 1st Place: Kailey Dioron (pictured)
7th Grade Honorable Mention: Isabel Harwood
4th Grade Honorable Mention: Megan Brady
3rd Grade Honorable Mention: James Bollinger
