Hello. My name is Reneé Nunez and it is a privilege and blessing for me to serve as principal of our school. I can think of nothing more rewarding than having the opportunity to share the love of Christ with my students, families and staff. My husband, Chip, and I are natives of Louisiana. We moved to Texas in 1989 and my vocation in Catholic schools began. We have three children including Carah, SAOP Class of ’09, SPX Class of ’13, and a junior softball player at Delta State University. George, SAOP Class of ’15 is a 9th grader at Klein Oak and Libby a 7th grader. This begins my 31st year in education and 26th in the Archdiocese. I have served as a teacher and assistant principal at St. John Paul II, and founding principal of St. Laurence in Sugar Land and SAOP. I have an M.Ed. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and 30+ graduate hours in Instructional Technology and Administration from the Universities of Houston and St. Thomas. My teaching certification spans early childhood to high school including administrative for PreK-12. I am a life-long learner, something I hope your children will become too.
