Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,
I was informed that one of our teachers has tested positive this morning for COVID-19. I felt the need to make you aware of this information. If any other information comes in the days ahead, you will be notified as soon as possible.
As a reminder, our students have not been on campus since before Spring Break, on March 6th. The teacher, whose identity may not be shared due to privacy requirements, was on campus March 26th to help in preparing pick-up materials. The teacher had no symptoms at that time and did not develop symptoms until March 31st. All faculty/staff involved with distribution of materials were asked to follow all CDC guidelines requiring hand-washing, use of hand-sanitizer, and wiping down surfaces with Clorox wipes provided by the school in addition to maintaining social distancing.
Let us continue to pray for each other and all those impacted by COVID-19 and all those caring for the sick.
Joining you in Prayer,
Veronica Tucker
Principal
